FAQs
-
Simply Psych Nursing offers psychotropic medication management and supportive psychotherapy through virtual (telehealth, telemedicine) appointments for your absolute convenience.
-
Simply Psych Nursing does not have a clinician that can render neuropsychological testing; however, Simply Psych Nursing is community focused and has resources to help navigate these barriers. Referrals can be made in order to get you to the right clinician(s) to obtain neuropsychological testing. Many clinicians who render these tests do not always treat or have the authority to furnish (prescribe) medication to treat the diagnoses. We would work collaboratively with these specialists to create your individualized treatment plan to target your concerns.
-
You and your Simply Psych Nursing provider can focus on medication management and opt for the “Medication Management-Short appointments” as your treatment plan. There will always be some level, even if minor, of psychoeducation and / or supportive psychotherapy, though, this can be less of the focus.
-
At Simply Psych Nursing, we work hard to take a collaborative approach and engage in shared decision-making. If you disagree with the treatment plan, please let your provider know so a proper resolution may be worked on.
-
Simply Psych Nursing limits the amount of insurances accepted because we want to maintain the autonomy we have with our clients and to be able to determine how we spend our treatment time together without the overshadowing restraints that may occur when having to abide by insurance policies.
